www.jesseterrymusic.com www.callaghansongs.com An Evening With Callaghan & Jesse Terry This special evening offers you two great voices in one show as critically acclaimed singer- songwriters Callaghan and Jesse Terry share their songs and stories. Callaghan “Nothing short of stunning” is how No Depression described Callaghan’s recent live show in Nashville. Originally from the UK Callaghan moved to Atlanta in summer 2010 to tour and record with grammy nominee Shawn Mullins after they connected via Myspace. Since then she’s released two studio albums and toured from coast-to-coast building her fanbase all across the USA. Playing piano and guitar she delivers a vocal which earns frequent comparisons with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Emmy Lou Harris. Her songwriting chronicles the stories, experiences and emotions which are part of everyone’s lives. In the UK the BBC have playlisted three singles from her latest album A History of Now and in the US Sirius XM’s My Favourite Coffee House have featured her live in session. BBC Radio London’s Gaby Roslin describes hearing Callaghan live as "Breathtaking...absolutely incredible” Jesse Terry "His music is filled with a simple grace, with lyrics that capture beautifully the eternal tug-of-war between head and heart. If you like Josh Ritter, Ryan Adams, or Jackson Browne, give Jesse’s music a try. His soothing voice paired with acoustic guitar is like a gentle sunbeam parting monochrome sky.” So says music blogger and No Depression contributor Vivian Wang - one of many reviewers who liken Jesse Terry to classic singer-songwriters and troubadours including Bob Dylan, James Taylor and Joni Mitchell. A grand prize winner in the John Lennon Song Writing Contest and the Nashville Songwriters’ Association contest, Jesse has performed at Bonnaroo, the legendary Philadelphia Folk Festival and on stages large and small all over the USA. The buzz about Jesse continues to grow with tours taking him to Europe and New Zealand and his music being featured in major TV series. Person-by-person, state-by-state, country-by- country, his fans, supporters, and colleagues have grown exponentially in the past few years. No wonder John Platt from WFUV New York calls Terry “a force to be reckoned with”
